CPAP Compliance

Sleep Apnea  is a very serious disease that can kill you if left untreated

There are three kinds of Sleep Apnea:

Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Central Sleep Apnea

Both Obstructive and Central Sleep Apnea

Obstructive is when you fall asleep and your tongue falls back blocking your upper airway

Central is when your brain does not stimulate you to breathe

I have both and have struggled with CPAP and BiPAP (modified CPAP)

This is my 51st year working with Sleep Apnea as a Respiratory Therapist and many people have Sleep Apnea and are not aware of it

If you have any of the following symptoms, I urge you to see you physician and ask him/her to order a Sleep study for you:

  • Feeling tired and sleepy during day time

  • Falling asleep while driving or sitting in a quite place like waiting for a red light

  • Snoring

  • Weight gain especially belly fat

  • Trouble with your short term memory

  • Mood swings

  • Low energy

If you have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and are experiencing difficulty getting used to and using your CPAP all night long, I can help

It usually only takes one phone or video call and sometimes followed up with one phone or video Hypnosis session

May God Bless you and your family
